As I step into this new era, I find myself looking not at how far I've come, but at the people who walked beside me. This post is a heartfelt thank-you to every soul who has supported, encouraged, and believed in me along the way.

This weekend held two celebrations woven together by love: the release of Blue Sky Mind and another trip around the sun for my husband, Pat. One marked the birth of a book. The other honored the steady presence that helped make it possible.

Some dreams arrive all at once. Others are woven slowly, one thread, one lesson, one act of trust at a time. Today, Blue Sky Mind is released into the world.

Tomorrow, Blue Sky Mind enters the world. What began as journal pages, quiet reflections, and moments of uncertainty has become a collection of threads woven together through trust, healing, and hope.

Becoming an author has taught me many things, but perhaps the greatest lesson has been learning to be a beginner again. This week, a simple mistake reminded me that growth isn't about perfection—it's about trusting the process one thread at a time.

Some people arrive in our lives exactly when the thread needs another hand to hold it. Rachel Krall, founder of Uprooted Publishing, has been one of those people for me. Her belief in this project helped me trust the unfolding and bring Blue Sky Mind into the world.
